SUMIFS
Adds numbers that meet multiple conditions across one or more ranges.
Compatibility: All Excel versions
Syntax
=SUMIFS(sum_range, criteria_range1, criteria1, [criteria_range2, criteria2], ...)
Example
=SUMIFS(C:C,A:A,"Rent",B:B,2025)
When to Use It
Use SUMIFS when totaling needs more than one condition at once — e.g. total "Rent" spending, but only for the year 2025.
