Returns each distinct value from a range exactly once, automatically spilling the results into neighboring cells.
Compatibility: Microsoft 365, Excel 2021+
Syntax
=UNIQUE(array, [by_col], [exactly_once])
Example

When to Use It
Use UNIQUE to quickly generate a clean, deduplicated list of categories from a long column that repeats the same values many times.
