Converts a number into text, displayed in a specific format you choose.

Syntax
=TEXT(value, format_text)
Example

When to Use It
Use TEXT when you need to combine a formatted number into a larger text string — e.g. building a sentence like "Total: $1,200.00" using & to join TEXT's output with other text.
