Rounds a number down, toward zero, to a specified number of digits.
Compatibility: All Excel versions
Syntax
=ROUNDDOWN(number, num_digits)
Example
=ROUNDDOWN(A1,0)
When to Use It
Use ROUNDDOWN when you never want to round up, e.g. calculating a conservative budget estimate.
