Beginner
Information
ISNA
Returns TRUE only if a value is specifically the #N/A error, and FALSE for anything else, including other error types.
Compatibility: All Excel versions
Syntax
=ISNA(value)
Example
=ISNA(VLOOKUP(A1,B:C,2,FALSE))
When to Use It
Use ISNA when you specifically want to detect a "value not found" result from a lookup function, without catching other, unrelated error types.
